Speculations

The keenly anticipated crossover ‘Crisis on Earth-X’ between The Flash , Supergirl , Arrow , and Legends of Tomorrow has aired last week. We all have seen and loved the crossover ‘Invasion!’ haven’t we? Also, have loved and enjoyed crossover between Supergirl and The Flash those are another story altogether. After the first crossover ‘Invasion!’ between the four dearly loved CW shows what to expect from ‘Crisis on Earth-X’. Who were the winners and losers of the crossover?  

Netflix finally released Marvel's The Punisher on Nov 17th. That made my weekend of Nov 18th the ‘Bingkend’ a binge weekend. I had to finish the show in those two days that meant watching all 13 episodes of season 1 in two days and then writing this post.

Now that we are into half of season 1 of both these shows what do we think of The Orville and Star Trek: Discovery. Are these shows up to the mark of being the next big thing? Capt. Ed Mercer vs Captain Gabriel Lorca or should I say Michael Burnham can’t tell.

Tv has changed a lot in recent times, Sci-fi which was not so popular genre has now got a steady viewership. So here it is my list of top ten sc fi tv shows of all times.  Note: I am not including superhero tv shows on this list as they are more of comic book shows than sci-fi shows.

SPOILER ALERT!!!!  If you have not seen Stranger Things Season 2 please be cautious of this speculations post.  This post contains Spoilers.           So after a long wait Stranger Things season 2 came out on Netflix. That weekend became binge-watching time for me. I had to finish watching entire season 2 in two days. So was it worth it? I am assuming, by now lots of fan of the show may have finished watching the second season. There is a lot of buzz about this web television show so I had to write this speculations post.           I always had this question, is Stranger Things for adults or for the kids. That confusion has increased with season 2. I understand Stranger things is a horror show but the first half chapters of the season 2 felt like a horror show and second half a cheap imitation of dinosaur show. The demo dogs, in particular, were a big letdown.  First few chapters defiantly felt like a better version of horror than season 1. Nicely executed horror

Do you agree with “Wonder Woman” 2017 as one of the contenders for Oscars? Hmmm….is it going to be a statement that AMPAS going to make about women or will they look at the quality of movies? Does public opinion affect Oscars? We have to wait and see in March 2018 till then let the speculations fly.
